Linda G. Hill: Who could top your memory. Memory is a cold mother!
OMG! Wednesday was easy! I may need to work on some other things today! Coloring? Journaling? Editing? Color my hair! Ding ding ding! Time to do my hair and come back and color a picture while I decide what to do next.
Say, anyone having trouble with media/pictures? I can’t seem to access my pictures for WP. When I hit ADD+ the next one prompts choosing what’s there or saved. But when I select from my cloud which picture to use it all gets stuck. I have to hit refresh to get out of that pop-up. So these pictures are copied straight from Linda’s site. Yesterdays SYW was copied from Cee’s Photography. I don’t know if it show up or if it is ‘legal’. What can I do to make that work? It used to be easy.
I haven’t had that. I’d contact WP. When I have had problems, they’ve fixed me up in minutes.
🙂
Thanks! I never have had to as when I see a problem it seems they are doing something new and everyone is going through it.
not sure about the pictures, I usually drag them to my desktop then upload them onto wordpress. Then I can add them to a post.
I’ve kept all my pics in the cloud and use the Media+ to go there and choose the picture I need.
I just went to the Help as Joey suggested and found that cleaning my cache did the trick as the person in Help suggested. Yay! But thanks for telling me how you do it. Maybe I’ll try that too just to see which is easier.
I’m glad you got it sorted out. 🙂
I’ve thought about using the cloud since I have SO MANY photos (and already have been blackmailed over a couple thousand of them- lost til someone solves the malware). But, I’m too paranoid about losing them in the cloud or having them stolen or compromised. Now, I immediately put them onto 2 different external hard drives and hope for the best from there.
It’s a pain in the ass to work with them that way, since I have to plug in the hard drive, bring the ones I want to use onto my computer and then save them on there anyway. I’m already running out of space on my computer and this time can’t afford to just go get a bigger one!
I wasn’t sure what caused the problem. I can use a different editing page to bring everything up. I don’t have another hard drive to save to and most of the pictures I share on the blog aren’t the precious ones. Most of those are on thumb drives and other redundant places. But hey, the blog is working again so I don’t have an excuse to not blog. It was a WP problem not my cloud’s problem. it got stuck on the add Media and nothing would load. From the editing page (not the one that comes up from hitting the “Write” at the upper right of a WP page.) Thanks for the warnings to watch out for the malware, though. Sad you’ve had to lose pictures that way. Makes one feel paranoid and lose faith in other humans when they do things like that. But I guess we all need to be aware not all people are nice.
True, it’s made me much more careful.
I’m glad you got your problems taken care of. So frustrating when that kind of thing happens! I’m so technologically limited.
Well, I’m not sure it is taken care of. They showed me a backdoor method to write my blogs. It works so I will avoid the way I was doing it for the way that works. Me, too, technologically limited!
it’s definitely a learning process. 🙂
