Yay! Forward motion is happening!

Also, I have finally worked up to 30 minutes on the bike!
I love progress wherever I can find it!

It’s happened to me often. That new skein of beautiful yarn, the bright shiny pattern pulling my itchy fingers to get busy.
I reach inside looking for the lone strand to start the cake. But yarn vomit erupts. It’ll be hours before this would look like something more than a bald gnome bawling balled up, and organized soft sock or toy.

The socks and hat are on Chiaogoo cable needles. The shawl is crocheted. I’ve frogged and restarted the hat and the shawl. It’s fun to try something new. I have other socks but haven’t worked on them for a while.

Energy has been low lately but I’m gradually getting better.

Since I don’t have a book review ready, I’m still reading the books, I thought it a good time to share what I’m working on.

Though I’m working on the socks when my hands let me but the progress doesn’t show so much.
Mostly I’ve been trying to catch up with reading. Have you seen my TBR/Currently Reading shelf?

Long time no see. Still processing. Lots of book reviews coming. But for now other things are being processed. And a couple of finished projects.

It worked! By the way, the little balls on either side of the mouse was how much I had to waste until they matched.

I do my Duo while on my stationary bike during the afternoon news.
Well, there’s the hobby progress. Now if I could figure out how to do more on the weekends.

I’m back on the treadmill and stationary bike exercise times. Yay!

For next year, I hope I start Christmas music before Halloween. I’d like to be more proficient by this point. And I hope I know those last few songs with very little brush up time.
Oh, in case you need to see how gentle goals help:ย
I started back to piano last October. The goal: sit and play as long as it’s fun, then move on to something else. At first, I’d only play a song, or five minutes. Today I’ve clocked an hour and a half! And it’s still fun! And I’m not hurting as much as I used to.

And a new writing goal: 500 words a day starting today. And work 4 scenes a day on Folie ร Plusieurs. But TrackBear is being a BEAR! So I need to find another way to keep track. I did get 637 words in a zoom sprint with Yvensong.
How was your Friday finale?

The other socks are sitting quietly until I can get back in the groove.
With NaNo over I’ve made up my mind to write at least 800 words a day to keep the writing muscle activated.๐ค
With lots of sight reading of Christmas songs, I ran across this fun ditty. It’s being added to Lucy and Linus, and When Christmas Comes to Town songs to learn this season.
The start of the day it was 12 degrees. The freezing fog gave us a snowy effect.

But NaNoWriMo is taking all my energy and time and still I’m behind.
