I wanted a cartoon to represent today. The frog, climbing out of the well, One Step Forward, Two Steps Back. But this Paula Abdul video cheered me up.
Tomorrow I call the Doctor. Just finished my antibiotics but everything seems back to the beginning. At least my inner child gets to dance with the cartoon cat.

How many tanned tins of tuna would fit in a tun? Tons? Ten tunas? Ugh! It’s smells fishy in here!

My memory foam mattress is longing for Alzheimer’s.

It took hours to find a somewhat funny, funny. Cute, though. Thanks Sandra Boynton

Our prompt for today is brought to us by Liz. Please be sure to visitย Lizโs blogย to read her posts and say hello. And follow her while youโre there if youโre not already.
The first thing I thought of when I saw the prompt was one of my favorite commercials. Enjoy.
It always makes me giggle. And wish for a chewy peanut butter cup.

Funny how the funnies aren’t so much.
I remember we ‘grands’ spread out on our grandparents’ floor after church. Not laughing, unless Silly Putty was involved. The colorful comics seemed more truths than humor
A couple stood out over the years. The one above (but my parents wouldn’t allow a dog inside to sleep.)
One little guy with a huge sombrero in a wagon his rope lassoed on a star. I think the caption was ‘aim for the stars and when you find the one you love, hang on.’
Another was eighth notes hanging out on the piano. One sitting on the music stand covered with cobwebs. That one says, “How can you tell I haven’t practiced?” See? Truth.
Here’s to Sunday Funnies
