Good luck, you can do it! Btw, is typing on your laptop making your shoulder sore too? I have been hurting since the second or third day in, I figured it’s because I’m not taking Gabapentin or Celebrex anymore, and I’m not used to a steady two hour writing period every day. What are your thoughts?
I’m sorry typing is hurting your shoulder. Fibro/arthritis play into everything I do. One thing I have learned is not to stress or try and do things in large chunks. It was how I did things when I was young. But now I have to break things down into the smallest of amounts. When I get behind I have to work on that even more. Like today the count should be 20,004. I’m only at 18,974. I think the weather is changing again so there is a lot of pain. So I may try to get about 500 more words today before giving up. If that is the case, I just accept it. Readapt the daily goal overall and try as I might to better that. One thing that helps is going to YouTube and finding virtual Write-Ins and Prompts. Sometimes those get me over the slump. The big help and I will probably use it tomorrow: Dragon Naturally Speaking. Windows has this kind of program too. Sometimes my hands hurt. So telling the story is easier on the body. And I can get back to knitting. ;-D What are some of your tricks?
Changing my positions where I write, taking small breaks, getting a massage, lol!
Ooh! massages! Yeah, I was going to suggest changing positions often. I can get really hurty if the dog or cats want to sit with me while writing. They try to massage, but well… Anyway, whatever works right?
