I used to read well over 60 books a year, and in 2019, I read 15. 15. I’m hoping it’s a phase. Like the years I had babies. (I still think I read more then…) Might get to 16.
Yeah, there are a lot of variables. Chasing toddlers meant less ME books. But thousands of picture books. When working, less energy than when not. One of my friends loves children’s books. She’s read hundreds every year. Another friend loves thick deep books. Those take a long time. Her numbers are much lower than yours. Oh, and as my vision got worse before Kindle text-to-speech my numbers got very low. That was miserable for me. I’ve always been a reader. Enjoy the reading you can. 15 is hefty for all you have going on.
