Yesterday I was so tired I barely knitted. Sure, I’m not the battery rabbit, but my hands and brain usually won’t stop.
Today was better, but it still feels blah and force to get anything done.
So I am using why? Is it the diet?
Hey, Keto friends, did you go through times of tiredness? How about times of oily face and hair? Why are my limbs still dry and flaky?
Sure, it could be the times I get up with the dog all night. The lack of continuous sleep?
I realize I am still learning how to make the Keto with mostly vegetarian going on is hard to do. But I do enjoy the salmon and spinach salad with cheese. I am increasing salads and olive oil, and salmon. I’m decreasing, well, eliminated bread but decreasing other carbs. I’m trying not to be too strict and just trying to make it healthier and healthier. I am still doing the 16/8 fast/eat. That part is quite easy. I keep trying to force the fast time longer just to see how long I can go without getting jittery, which so far I do just fine that way.
Why is my brain mushy? Yet, I must say on the days when I have salmon, it seems better–or am I just fooling myself?
Just…
Hi Darlene, I have done keto off and on for about 2 years. Tiredness is a symptom of dehydration which occurs due to water that’s excreted in the first phase. Try having lots of water. A table spoon of apple cider vinegar in a glass of water helps too.
Good to know! I have some Bragg’s to help. Drinking as I type. Thank you!🤗💜
You’re welcome! It also takes a lot of determination to stick to it. All the best.
Thanks!
👍🤩
Maybe the problem is what you are starting with each day. I always have my “bulletproof” coffee. Normally that means coffee with butter, coconut oil, sweetener, and a few other things whipped up in my Ninja. It gives me a boost of energy, provides mental focus, and keeps me sated until breakfast. I don’t eat bread, or pasta, and I try to stay away from sugar (most of the time) and the sweetener I use is stevia. I haven’t been as strict since the pandemic, yet somehow I’m at least maintaining my weight, I’m just not losing-and I won’t until I get struck again. But ten pounds is hard to lose at my age anyway. I hope this helps!
As a previous breakfast touter, most important meal of the day stuff, I’ve been surprised not to feel even the slightest bit hungry when I wake up. I sip coffee or tea until noon. The butter in the coffee before end of fast sounds weird. Guess I need to read more! Thanks!💜🤗

Will do! Thanks!🤗
Strict is what I meant to say
😊
Perhaps it has to get worse to get better 💜
