Brain On Fire is a great movie (Netflix)

One-liner Wednesday is a fun, easy prompt by Linda G. Hill.

One-liner Wednesday

Properly practiced, knitting soothes the troubled spirit, and it doesn’t hurt the untroubled spirit either.

One-liner Wednesday is a Linda G. Hill prompt.

One-liner Wednesday

Four at a time socks nearly finished. (I don’t think I’ll knit them on the ‘X-Wing’ again. Too unwieldy)

What a difference an hour makes. Kali met mud at 7AM then full snow at 8AM

Linda G. Hill prompts us with One-liner Wednesday.

What do you get when you cross vampires with snowmen?

Frostbite.

Sorry

Ugh!

So keeping it personal, not political. Potatoes were okay. I needed to use more water. Brown rice not so done as I’d like, maybe need more water. Instapot gets it done without letting out any smell of something cooking. My other pressure cooker make wonderful smells and lets me know when food is just right. So not defeated. Learning curve.

Needle knitting, barely tinked today, no frogging. Win!

If you would like to participate in this prompt, feel free to use the “One-Liner Wednesday” title in your post, and if you do, you can ping back here to help your blog get more exposure.

Here are the simple JusJoJan Rules:

1. Just Jot It January starts January 1st, but it’s never too late to join in! Here, we run on the honour system; the “jot it” part of JusJoJan means that anything you jot down, anywhere (it doesn’t have to be a post, it can even be a grocery list), counts as a “jot.” If it makes it to your blog that day, great! If it waits a week to get from a sticky note to your screen, no problem!

2. I’ll post prompts at 2am my time (GMT -5). The prompt will be the word in quotation marks in the title of my 2am post. You don’t have to follow the prompt every day, but that will be where you leave your link for others to see. You’ll get a prompt for every day except Wednesday, when the prompt is simply my One-Liner Wednesday and on Saturday, when your prompt will be the Friday Reminder and Prompt for #SoCS, which will appear at about 9:30am Friday. Each prompt post will include the rules.

2 a) The rules that I’ve made for myself (but don’t always follow) for “One-Liner Wednesday” are:

1. Make it one sentence.

2. Try to make it either funny or inspirational.

3. Use our unique tag #1linerWeds.

4. Add our lovely badge to your post for extra exposure!

5. Have fun!

3. Please ping back or link to the daily prompt. To ping back, just copy the URL from the daily prompt post, and paste it anywhere in your post. Check to make sure your link shows up where you want it to, and go back occasionally to see other bloggers’ entries – the more you visit others, the more they’ll visit you! Note: A) The newest pingbacks will be at the top of the comments section. B) Ping backs only work if you’re blogging on WordPress. Everyone else must paste a link manually.

4. Tag your post JusJoJan and/or #JusJoJan.

5. Write anything! Any length will do! It can even be a photo or a drawing – you’re going to title it, right? There’s your jot!

6. If your post is NSFW, do not ping back. Please leave your link in the comments with a warning.

7. If you’d like to, use the JusJoJan badge so that others can find your post more easily.

8. Have fun!

One-liner Wednesday SNOW

There was little snow in the morning, then mud, now snowing like it should have on Christmas Eve!

One-Liner Wednesday

It is a time to keep it under the hat!

Just finished last night.

One joined Wednesday is a fun prompt brought to us by Linda G. Hill.

One-Liner Wednesday

Not to be redundant, but all this talk of vaccines is a shot in the arm!

Being allergic to albumin, the base to flu shots, and other health factors puts me in the more vulnerable crowd. I haven’t been out except to the dentist (tooth extraction) and Urgent Care (broken toe) and finally to the campground, since March! Still, I hope to take this vaccine when it is available. My allergy isn’t of the anaphylaxis kind; I just get sick for a week. I guess I prefer getting a little sick to near-death experiences.

As with Stream of Consciousness Saturday (SoCS), if you see a pingback from someone else in my comment section, click and have a read. It’s bound to be short and sweet.

Unlike SoCS, this is not a prompt, so there’s no need to stick to the same “theme.”

One-Liner Wednesday

Happy birthday to me, COVID19 style.

So that was my one-liner for One-liner Wednesday but wait, there’s more:

I wanted to see the trees and nature for my day. My husband and Kali took me up to the campsite. It is only 14 miles from our home. Unfortunately, it is a rough dirt road. But well worth the drive!

Here I am giving a guided tour of the favorite campground for our family. Though it is only 14 miles away, as I mentioned before, it takes a while to drive it.

Kali isn’t a fan of the drive. When I let her out for a while to walk, I think she would have rather walked the whole way. Nope. I am not in that kind of shape.

After we got too cold to stand there, we climbed into the truck to come home. It was equally as long coming home (go figure!), but at the end of the dirt road, we saw a herd of deer just before getting on the highway. I took a couple pictures from the passenger seat across from Chris and his barely opened window, but maybe you can join me in enjoying the thrill of seeing these sweeties.
