You gotta know things are bad if I choose to start binging True Blood over watching another moment of news or hang out at FaceBook.

Nope. I don’t usually like vampires.  I have to admit that between my husband and bestie have broken my anti-horror stance over the last decade. And sadly, I think I like it. Both The Walking Dead and TrueBlood have more story than horror. I like watching the characters grow through the weird world they are in. I can relate.

Thank goodness for One-liner Wednesday. I don’t think I could have done more today.

Time and tide wait for no one, but nine months can outlast all! (This is me waiting for a friend to give birth–and how I felt with each of my four!)

Jotting the One-Liner. Thanks, Linda!

Have you ever looked at the word SELF and seen an elf or do you nearly see fles-h?

Since I was out yesterday, I didn’t get to use the prompt so I brought it along to today. The prompt was brought to us by Ritu while Just Jot It January and One-liner Wednesday are Linda G. Hill’s creations.

Chair Yoga. Check. How can I be sore after that? I am.

Thanks, Linda for the fun of both of these challenges. Does it matter that there are several sentences in my one line?

Asked my husband for a one-liner. Here it is. I blame him!

What’s the difference between a doorknob?

1-Liner Wednesday

Finished “Girl on a Train” last night about 3:30. Woke this morning and was talking to my hubby about the book. Still not quite awake and needing to hit the necessary room.

“It had a few–um–fish in it–you know–” Slam the door. Come out much relieved.

“Red Herrings!”

Brought to you by Linda G Hill.

Review to come in the next few days. (Road Trip slow down blogs!)

When enjoying the craft group shortens the walk. (Too much fun and warm weather–but met a cute new puppy on the street.)

She looked like this. Kali hated her but I wanted to keep her. She followed us home but left after we went into the house to crash.

What a joyous January! <—Wednesday’s 1-Liner

This was an especially wonderful day. There was a meeting of the Hat Huggers. The chairperson rattled off how many charities our comfort items went to. It was very impressive.

Here is where I get to shine my nails on my chest. (And if I can’t on my blog where can I?) After the meeting our chairperson told me that the sheriff was very impressed with my stuffed animals and dolls. They were able to release them here locally to children in need and could I make lots more? I felt flattered but more, I felt I am useful. When you are in pain you wonder. But my distraction from the pain is going to a very good cause. I leave January happy. <—Jot

It has been a lot of fun participating in Just Jot It January. I hope I can keep up with writing every day. Having a one word prompt helps keep me writing. Thank you, Linda G. Hill!

Still tinking and frogging and knitting same little hat as days ago. I’ll get this knitting thing if its the last thing I do! I miss my looms! Why do I have to be so determined? Okay, so not one line–unless you put it on a big screen.

Both One-Liner Wednesday and Just Jot it January are brought to us by Linda G. Hill. Go here to find out how it all works.

Shake makes a blurry picture. Always shake paws, fewer flu germs.

Here is the inspiration from Linda G. Hill’s site:

Short on inspiration and energy: a comic from Facebook, originated from http://buttersafe.com/

*comic shows stick figure sitting, laying down, begging, and sitting up in a coffin. Caption: Dog tricks: not as impressive when done by humans
