One-Liner Wednesday

A friend and I were chatting. The relentless sign came across the top of the screen: Low bandwidth. Yeah, our internet is unreliable. The song ‘Breaking Up Is Hard to Do’ echoed in my empty earworm filled brain.

“Yeah,” I countered aloud, “Breaking Up Is Easy on our Internet.”

Getting my groove back after being gone seems impossible.

I enjoyed the heck out of my five laps last night.

It was way too cold and I was way too tired for more.

The downside of needing lots to do with my hands is traveling.

Two suitcases, two sleeping bags (cause I don’t like feeling like a caterpillar), swimsuit with two suits (cause I intend to swim!), two other pairs of shoes, travel tea, a folding chair, knitting (three projects), two Fires for reading and games, and purse of emergency stuff, you know, just in case. In other words, I bring home with me.

Be your own elevator music.

My husband and I have been having a lot of discussions about music, practice time and spaces. At the end of our discussion we agreed on the above bit of mutual quote as our different drum we’re beating.

Our discussion from last night and this morning found my piano time. And I had fun. I can’t wait to play again, tomorrow.

Totally me! BUT there is the school of thought of visualization. It helps.
