My Day

And a special friend (Happy Birthday, Cheryllr ❤️)

For me, this year:

Your prompt for #JusJoJan the 11th and Stream of Consciousness Saturday is: “it’s the little things.” Take whatever the phrase “it’s the little things” brings to mind and use it in your post. Have fun!

On days like today you can see clearly that it is the small things that make all the difference.

The small thing I’m referring to today weighted in a little less than 8 pounds, and a head full of hair. I can’t believe it was- um-a long time ago this day. Most of my small things are near or at middle aged. Give a mother a break. Who worked harder that day the birther or birthee? Happy Birthday big guy. Glad we got to talk today

Finished, umm, Sunday?

Yay! I got these done in time for the birthday party last night. And, I’m told, they fit!

I have more pics of my travels but no time.

Yarnie Birthday!

What a fun birthday I’ve had. I got to chat and talk with folks I love. I got to birthday shop at my favorite yarn shop, Willows, and talk knitting. All in all, I feel fortunate for all the love around me.

Happy birthday to my way younger twin. You know who you are ❤️

Now back to 9-1-1 (we are addicted to this show) have you watched it? Oh, and knitting.

And C.

And birthday snow!

How many of you do the digital reverse or add the digits together?

But I’m pretty happy about my actual age. I feel blessed to have lived this long when others didn’t get to travel with me. And my goal is the next prime number.

And the white dusting on the porch and driveway are making my birthday magical.

One-Liner Wednesday

Happy birthday to me, COVID19 style.

So that was my one-liner for One-liner Wednesday but wait, there’s more:

I wanted to see the trees and nature for my day. My husband and Kali took me up to the campsite. It is only 14 miles from our home. Unfortunately, it is a rough dirt road. But well worth the drive!

Here I am giving a guided tour of the favorite campground for our family. Though it is only 14 miles away, as I mentioned before, it takes a while to drive it.

Kali isn’t a fan of the drive. When I let her out for a while to walk, I think she would have rather walked the whole way. Nope. I am not in that kind of shape.

After we got too cold to stand there, we climbed into the truck to come home. It was equally as long coming home (go figure!), but at the end of the dirt road, we saw a herd of deer just before getting on the highway. I took a couple pictures from the passenger seat across from Chris and his barely opened window, but maybe you can join me in enjoying the thrill of seeing these sweeties.
