Dar49 Daily

Dar49 Daily. Is out! It took so long because I couldn’t stop reading the stories! Enjoy!

Literary Birthday – 22 July – Tom Robbins – Writers Write Creative Blog. I loved Skinny Legs and All. Couldn’t believe the inanimate things talking to each other in a cave. Threw the book into the back of the car. Got stuck one day (car broke down) found the book and found I couldn’t stop reading. I am embarrassed to admit to crying over missing dirty sock. I need to read his more recent stuff.

Stories – The Scriptorium Daily. Is out. Scriptorium on week ends is for the mature. Still, a lot of great articles!

The Scriptorium Daily

The Scriptorium Daily. For those that like a spicier Paper.li here are our friends at Scriptorium Daily!

I just finished reading The River by Cheryl Kaye Tardif. It was quite the adventure. Read my review on GoodReads:

Goodreads | Darlene Milner’s review of The River.

I usually copy these to my LiveJournal and Amazon but am never as happy as the reviewing possibilities on GoodReads.

Dar49 Daily. Here she is! Again the robots picked science more than writing news articles. Still, I got lost while trying to make sure I didn’t have too many duplicates.

The first article is about French language and its influence on English. I have to admit when I read a book that has too much of French, Spanish, German or other, I get bored of looking everything up and soon give up on those kinds of books. What has your experience been with novels that have a leaning toward other languages that you are not fluent in?

The Scriptorium Daily

The Scriptorium Daily. My friends from Scriptorium: http://www.thescriptorium.net/ have released their daily Paper.li. Enjoy! Mine will be out in a few hours. Lots of writerly fun.

Dar49 Daily. Lots of science. A bit of writing. A bit of Boiled Leather. Let me know what you think, please.

Indie Book Marketing and Engagement 101. I found this blog interesting. I am not published yet, but I have been reviewing books for a while and think this author sees things the way I do. What do you think of her take on the advertising Indie Books?

The Scriptorium Daily. The Paper.li that introduced me to Paper.li. Just thought others might enjoy this paper, too.
