Four heels! I wanted to see if I could math my way from a 40 stitch Cast-on to a 60 stitch Cast-on. Wahoo! It worked!
The heels are the brown cotton blend. I have not been a fan of the acrylic (the blueish white) or the cotton. The fibers are not as soft and they separate. Ugh! Oh, these are with the HiyaHiya Fliers needles.
Double Pointed needles (Knitters’Pride Dreamz) the Cascadi superwashed yarns are very soft. I have the needles pointed to the heels. These four, tinks included, took me all day. But I feel accomplished on this first day of spring.
By the way, this day started out like this:
Progress has been made on other socks over the weekend.
Softer yarn but thinner and the ChiaoGoo red-lace circulars are a US size 1. But almost to the heels! Yay!
Caron is the softest yarn and I love these colors. ChiaoGoo red-lace circulars US size 8. Easiest on my hands.
Just 7 inches from the toes. I’m so excited to have learned to divide for the heel, then turn heel, then I shaped the gusset and now it’s stockinette (straight knitting) until the toes. Wah hoo! And I’m ready with yarn and more Double pointed needles for the fiancés socks.
My bathroom is nearly done. I’ll probably have to shower at least once in the guys’ restroom. Ugh! I’ve hated being so scattered, my stuff is everywhere and I had to schlep between my room and their restroom work bags of stuff.
And our poor kitty, Teddy has been having troubles, teeth and blood sugars so my husband has taken the trip through the mountains to the vet to take care of him.
Not to mention, Kali is still getting older and having a hard time with all of it. So lack of sleep is playing hard against ambition.
So I’m trying to be kind to myself for being about a day behind on NaNoWriMo, Reflexion about the Pensées family. So the word count

How does a free blog site work when everything is tied to dollars? How do you create content without using proprietary themes when it seems even the colors and fonts are tied to upgrades for usage? Is it even possible? I hope to find out.
