Okay, confession time. Since starting Camp NaNo, my memoirs/autobiography/my life, my background show has been Heartland. I figured I have horses to look at and it wouldn’t be distracting. I was scared it would be heavy western music. It has been tolerable. I always skip the intro song, but even it isn’t horrid. It is just boring and doesn’t seem to apply to the show.
Anyway, it worked quite well for the first four seasons. Great background. Then suddenly I found it distracting. I got invested in the characters and story. So I guess I should recommend it to others. I’ve made it to the 13th season! Only one more, then I’ll need another distracting background.

Okay this is not going to be very long. A friend and then my husband recommended Manifest. I didn’t think I would like it. But whoa! I am getting nothing done I am so sucked into it! I did start writing more of my time travel story. But meanwhile this is so good I can’t take my eyes off it. The first two seasons are on Netflix. The rest is on Hulu.
Here is what I’ve been watching lately. It is very bland but it grows on you.

It’s on Netflix, by the way.
Wow! When did it become Tuesday?
While knitting lots, today, the sky looked like this:
No. Not my photo but Pixabay.com
There were winds and lots of tiny hail and rain that made a lot of noise. It looked like we’d have a huge lightning storm but we only heard the thunder once. But, darn it, it is still cold. I know I will be complaining in a few days about 110 degrees heat. But it is May and I would appreciate 80 okay?
I guess I could catch up on my binges. I finally finished Grey’s Anatomy over the weekend.
Then I talked to my daughter who reminded me that I needed to catch up on This is Us.
I’m sad because even though I love those two shows, being done leaves me flopping around with that no friends to watch zone. Oh during that time my son and I found Little Monsters. We laughed and so enjoyed it. I know. Zombies. But it was more about how a kindergarten teacher saves the kids and a very messed up band member. I may have to watch it again soon. It made me happy.
Even though the weather is making me hurt, including my hands, I want to get back to finding something to watch while knitting. Those socks don’t knit themselves!
Just change that to knitting/loom knitting. And don’t you feel like throwing things at the TV when this interrupts the flow? I gotta lay down in the middle of a count to pick up both remotes cause it is never the right one first. Then I have to go back and figure out what I was doing. Usually, that means I have to tink back a stitch or two. If only Netflix could see how counterproductive this is! Oh, and if I am using it to help me sleep, this wakes me back up. Can we sue for our own sanity? Please!
And back to the loom. See ya all soon!
The Unlisted has kept me distracted all day.
One-Liner Wednesday is a fun, easy challenge. Thank you Linda G. Hill.
I had hoped to be finished with at least one of my projects today but in spite of hurting hands from constant knitting loom and needles, everything is still in progress.
But I did enjoy the accompanying shows today, Raising Dion and Absolutely Anything. And currently, I am watching This Beautiful Fantastic. Trailer YouTubes below.
I can’t wait for season two! This was a very touching show!

So funny!
I’m only an eighth into it and I know I will love it.
What are you watching?
As we are finishing the last couple episodes of The 100, I was trying to think of other shows I’ve watched and haven’t shared I’m sad to see the end of The 100 coming in the seventh season coming up on The CW. But I refuse to watch it with the wait between episodes and putting up with commercials. So I’ll wait until Netflix finally gets that last season.
I couldn’t remember what I had watched but I finally figured out that if I click on my profile picture on Netflix, then go to account and viewing activity, I found a list I could download and go through.
We watched Crazyhead. It was fun, different.
The show Typewriter was fun though a bit for a younger audience.
You all probably watched this long ago, but I finally got around to it and found it entertaining, Silence!
All of these were from my Netflix list. I’ll go through my other lists soon. Now I am wishing I would have kept a paper copy of my shows.
Well, as I told you yesterday we are binging many shows but as of a couple hours ago, we finished both seasons of Outlander on Netflix.
We closed up the living room and all walked to our rooms in despair. But look what I just found Hulu:
YAY!!!
I love shows/books like this because it makes me learn more history while playing with Sci-fi and Time Travel. Meanwhile, I had a credit with Audible and picked up the Kindle version from the e-library. So I’ll get to see more in the book than the show could ever cover. I’m practically giddy!
