To pseud or not to pseud. These have been my thoughts all along. I can’t decide on a Psued but feel I need one for my deeper darker writings. What are your thoughts?

Liebster Award

I think it’s a good idea if it allows you to feel free to write what you wish without having to worry about hurting or shocking the people you think would take offense. What is artful creation if we can’t be ourselves?
And maybe it allows that true writing that the muse is feeding us at the time?
Most definitely. Who wants to feel self-conscious when they are expressing themselves?
Hi there! I wanted to let you know I’ve nominated your fabulous blog for The Liebster Award! Please go here to get the details on what you need to do to accept your award. Congratulations!
OMG! Thank you! This is a surprise. I guess I need to get serious now! 🙂
You’re very welcome 😀

Great idea! I’ll let you know what I come up with. Thanks!
I write “daydream” files when I want to solve a niggling, nagging idea. It helps to pretend to be someone else and use whomever I have a current crush on as a sounding board. Then I password protect it so that no one can get in the gate (unless they have the keys). In this day and age where privacy seems to be either a foreign concept to a much younger generation or a reason to be accused of hiding dire deeds, it’s nice to say, “This is mine, this is my opinion, this is who I am. You can’t have it.”
I like the idea of a daydream file or journal that is locked for just me. But my characters can be anything from a little naughty to downright criminal. I just don’t want my family and close friends associating me with the characters. I often think about Stephen King. Surely folks don’t think him a criminal for the scary characters and plot that jump from his imagination. Even still, I am thinking of using a pseud.
