From earliest known books to digital publishing [infographic]. This is a case where I wish I could see this on a long piece of paper. This is cool!

I’m pretty disappointed that they completely skipped the BBS days. Geeze, FB is just a copy of them and things like FidoNet. Might just be tempted to fix that….
I do have fond memories of C:\ prompt. 🙂
Heh. I recall DOS 3.3 and NOT being able to format more than 33MB on my 40MB HD. Had to make multiple partitions.
I didn’t get that far into it. Four kids to care for and and a mini-farm to boot. But my second son got into that sort of stuff and he is still a member of my own personal IT department. I did get into the Bulletin Boards. Oh, and Castlevania. I learned enough to get around. Learned first hand what I wasn’t supposed to do but the “Black Screen of Death”. I was much happier with my Tandy Sensation. It was more Dar-friendly. My kids got each of my computers as I out-grew them. They learned far more that I did. They feel in deep love with games, still addicted to E.Q.
It was with my next computer that I met my husband on Prodigy’s Pen Pal Message Board. Good memories!!! 🙂
