This was supposed to be finished three days ago. Funny thing is… I started this when my brother had to walk 8 miles round trip to and from work. He has since got himself a car. Still, he says he needs it. It’ll wrap around his neck a couple times (more if he doesn’t treat me right 😉 ). That little tiny wad of yarn is all that was left of the skein. This scarf took up nearly the whole skein! I still have to do some minor things before giving it to him but he’ll get it before lunch tomorrow. By the way, this is from the three skeins my daughter gave me for my birthday on December 9th when I got Kali.

Beautiful scarf, lovely colours. I have several projects that I began last year, but haven’t had the time to finish. I really must get back into it.
Thank you. The new yarns are so much fun watching how they make the varied stages so exactly, even though I followed no pattern on this one. Just used my smaller oval and just one side doing the garter stitch. And I always have a bunch of projects going at once. It helps my ADD and my arthritis to work that way. AND I just went back to your site and you seem very busy with your own fun projects! I like what you are doing with Coffee Share! Oh, as for the Loom Knitting, for me it is meditative and relaxing. Since it is with donated yarns (mostly–not the scarf–it was Birthday yarn from my daughter) and the end products go to charities, I feel I am contributing to society in some small way.
