When it rains…
Last night Rosey had her bi-weekly spell. My husband cleaned up the yuck. He was taking the towel outside to shake. As he turned to come back inside he tripped. The whole house shook.
After a full day in the ER we’ve learned he has two cracked ribs.
While we were there we learned they’d checked in 7 new cases of COVID19. Apparently there’s a new break out. Lots of younger people are catching it. The nurse nearly cried when we told her we were vaccinated. She thanked us. She told us one of their healthy team members, who used to jog 100 miles a week, succumbed to the disease.
Let’s not get out there too soon, folks. Let’s keep each other safe to keep our health teams well.

Oh! I am so sorry to hear about this. How is hubby now? Cracked ribs are very painful.
Poor Rosie too.
Also I am sorry to hear the climb in numbers in your area and the sad recount of healthy health carers dieing of covid. Sadly it’s not gone yet , we must all take care. Love to you all. 💜
We are all home now. The ribs are hurting but Chris seems better and better. With our vaccines we feel safer than otherwise, but still we prefer the masks as we have had such a low rate of actual flu this year. For so many that I know who have lower immunities, I think this is a kindness for all. Love to you and yours, too! 🧡💛❤💜
I am so glad that Chris is on the mend, ribs are so painful. We have had both our shots now, our lads have had their first ones, infact one of our sons has had his second, and our daughter in law has her first this week. I do hope the world improves for us all soon.💜💜
Yay for the offspring shots! Soon real hugs can happen! ❤💜🤗
Yes indeed 💜🤣🤣
Hugs (virtual only, I promise) to all of you. Yay for being vaccinated, but better to stay out of covid’s way in any case. Hope everyone heals up well and things get back to normal soon.
Chris is home now. All seems so much quieter. Sending those virtual hugs back! 🙂 Yeah, we are still wearing our masks and trying to keep others healthy as well as ourselves. It doesn’t hurt. The flu has been down this year due directly to mask wearing. Why not take care of those of us who have immunity issues?
You say that like it’s obvious :p. Glad Chris is home and that you’re taking care for yourselves and everyone you interact with.
Thanks!💜
