Yesterday (actually today but I plan to schedule this for tomorrow) my daughter drove me home. It was so nice to spend the extra time together. We listened to these podcasts:

Sorry for the bad quality shot but I felt that would be the easiest way to look up the podcasts. Type the second line in the Google.
The following is as we entered the heavy smoke of the Bootleg Fire. Sorry about the chatter and podcasts in the background.
I feel badly that my daughter has to drive home alone and go back through that smoke. But then there are people who live there some of my writers group live there. Send prayers and healthy thoughts.

That is so horrible! I pray they get it under control soon. I’m glad you got a break, sorry you had to come back to that!
Yeah. I’m thankful to return to my house intact. So many so close to our little town have lost everything. I did learn since posting that all outside water needs to be curtailed so the water can go to the fire. That’s kind of scary in our little yard is our first line of defense. The draught is why grass yards are suffering. If we go back to dust it is nearly as bad as the smoke. One can only just shake their head.
You know we see these fires on the news, but your video and comments sure make it real. So awful for those close by. Hope the fires die down soon. Keep safe!
Thanks for sharing!
🙂 You’re welcome.
