How does a free blog site work when everything is tied to dollars? How do you create content without using proprietary themes when it seems even the colors and fonts are tied to upgrades for usage? Is it even possible? I hope to find out.

Awesome! Which language are you learning?
Thank you. I’m working on German, Spanish, Japanese, Scottish Gaelic, Latin, French, Italian, Esperanto, Navajo, and Hebrew. Though the last two are very hard for my brain.
Oh my! These are so many. Very impressive Darlene 🩷👏🏼
It is fun. I can’t say I can speak in any of them. I am beginning to recognize a stray word or two in books or on shows that have the ocassional language. Mostly I keep my mind learning. Both of my grandmothers died of Alzheimers so I want to keep that out there as far as I can.💕🤗
A good way to keep the mind active
Yes!
Hello fellow Duolingo member!
In the past I learned German and French on Duolingo, I am currently trying to learn Welsh.
I must say that I preferred the older version where you were able to translate short essays (like Wikipedia articles) from the language you wanted to learn into English and vice versa. To me, that was way more helpful than the current system. But it is still a great resource!
I do have children’s books to play with in most of my languages. I do like Google translate to play with, too. I’m just trying to keep my brain working.
Absolutely!
