The Depth Behind The Ordinary
Books, games, music, and life — filtered through the mind of a writer, drummer, and philosopher who thinks too deeply about all of it. If it moves something in your chest, I'm interested.

The Introvert's Roadmap to Self Discovery and Growth
I love seeing pets in their enrichment homes. Did I tell you we have a snake now? A baby spotted python. Sybil. I spend way too much time watching her, even when she’s not cruising or climbing.
A snake! Wow! My brother raised snakes. They are fascinating. As I recall you or family member were allergic to furry friends. A snake is perfect. Who feeds? Is it still on goldfish or onto rats and rabbits. My mother’s fridge and freezer had meals ready for David’s pets. Yeah, the vegetarian in me shudders, but I loved holding and watching his pets.
She’s probably going to be on mice completely; not likely to get too big. Right now, and for next few months at least, just on tiny hairless ones, once each week. We got her (coincidentally) right about Halloween, and she just shed for the first time… she is more muscular now but not noticeably bigger… about 14 inches and lean. We’re being very careful about how much we handle her but she’s doing great, very curious, very patient, just a little sweetheart.
Btw, we got her because we finally bought a house and so aren’t restricted from having pets by being renters (our landlord was going to sell, so we took savings rather than risk having to move).
So, yes, lots of news. 🙂
Wow! That is so cool! And owning your home is so freeing. Especially when the home doesn’t need repairs. We’re looking forward to finally no mortgage. Then we can use that extra money to fix the things we haven’t been able to afford so far. BTW, could you send me your new addy at my email? ❤️🤗
