Hidden Nature by Nora Roberts
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I love Nora Roberts writing. And I love January LaVoy’s narrations. But the suspence of this book made it hard to use as my bedtime book. If kidnapping and murder stay with you read this during the day like I did. That got me past the scary parts. Without that bit the rest of the story about families and relationships pulled me in and wouldn’t let me go.
The book came to me during a time of recuperation. Watching the main character push her recovery and rebuid her life was inspiring to my own health. Despite the thriller parts, this was good for my health.
This edition came to me through Libby.

I have read a few books by this narrator. I love Nora Roberts!
I think I am on a non-stop binge of Nora Roberts. January LaVoy is an excellent narrator. One of the best.
Yes! My mom used to read her books too. I’m sure your soul was more refreshed by family connection than with the scary bits. ๐คโบ๏ธ
There are so many writing lessons to learn in these books. I hope I can absorb a bunch of that. And you are right, the relatioships from friendships to family are so well formed and the scary bits need the light to help ease me through. ๐ค
