One Step Forward

I wanted a cartoon to represent today. The frog, climbing out of the well, One Step Forward, Two Steps Back. But this Paula Abdul video cheered me up.

Tomorrow I call the Doctor. Just finished my antibiotics but everything seems back to the beginning. At least my inner child gets to dance with the cartoon cat.

Antibiotics!

So when your Primary Care Provider says, ‘you look pale, sick!’after nearly a week and a half you feel glad you were finally able to feel validated.

Gluteal shot got the antibiotics started. Pills to finish starting tomorrow.

Psychological I feel better, physically still a washrag. Mind over matter!

I don’t have the nerve to tell them, as they groom each other and do a feline/canine duet of Annie’s Tomorrow, they’re not allowed in the clinic.

There will be barking as the green truck leaves the driveway and lectures for leaving them all alone.

Aren’t they the sweetest? I’ll catch Sammie soon. He’s big as a tiger but acts like a little kitten.

Drawing my own conclusions,  as convenient and painful as it can be, illness can teach us a lot.

But I’d rather be drawing doodles .

Two sleeps and a wake up. I can’t believe I’m looking forward to seeing a doctor like Christmas!

I did do Duo every day. And as boring as it must have been for you all, I did blog everyday. So there’s that.

3 nights and a wake up until the clinic is open and plan to be there.
