One-Liner Wednesday

*”Instead of having such faith that things will turn out badly, why don’t you try to believe that they will turn out just fine–no matter what we do or don’t do? Do you really think that whoever is up there in heaven cares if we dance and sing and drink crémant?”

“What you are doing is believing, not thinking. It’s a choice. The problem is that you do not believe in something that makes you happy, What’s the point of that?”

Okay, it’s a two-fer! Shoot, let me count again. A six-fer? I found that last quote by Laura Bradbury in *The Grape Series #6, My Grape Escape. Laura and her husband may actually be putting a bid on a house in France. She’s afraid she will jinx it by drinking to it.

I’m going to stick to Laura’s husband, Franck, and state the thing I’ve been afraid to jinx. The good news that my son gave me is that his girlfriend will bring us a dog and cat soon. The previous owners have to move and can’t take the animals. She asked if we wanted them, and without a beat, I said YES! <–That loud, too! And that, the day after, I colored these cuties (a coloring app on my Fire) and put the picture on my front door as a sort of vision board.

So, that’s my secret. I will be happy.

Your prompt for #JusJoJan the 25th and Stream of Consciousness Saturday is: “in line.” Use it any way you’d like! Enjoy!

Thinking in this post all day should have given me more inspiration than my original idea. But here it is.

It amazes me what one bit of yarn knits or crochets into a garment. One string kept in line can make something soft and warm.

One string attacked by a cat makes a puzzle. So best keep cats and yarn in line.

I’m going to piano, because you don’t want me to forte around.

Not my cat. Freebie foto. But looks like a kitty my daughter had. Sammie hasn’t figured out the piano, so far. The pic just fit my mood. The quote was from a discussion with my husband as I dismissed myself to play. I don’t call it practice or work. I want to keep it enjoyable.

One-Liner Wednesday

A new kitty is a lot of work despite the cuteness!

One-Liner Wednesday is a Linda G. Hill prompt.

Sammi(y) yells at the top of the Sammi(y) lungs about everything they don’t like. I finally got Sam to play with me with this thingy:

The toy she seems to like enough to steal it and hide it under the table.

What we woke to this morning needs no picture and please turn off the smell-a-blog. She knows to use her two kitty litters, but my brother, trying to earn points, gave her warm milk. I didn’t know such a little kitten could hold that much &**& We had to throw the blanket away where she had her accident. Aren’t you glad I don’t show everything? LOL!

Warmth in a Cold Room

The front of our house, the living room, dining room, and kitchen, are cold during the winter.  So I did this at Christmas and am revamping it for Valentine’s Day and St. Patrick’s Day. I set it up on reinforced boxes. It gives a cold room warmth and the cats a place to enjoy. Teddy is the star of this post.
