I finished my matching cowl! Bernet Baby yarn. It’s self striping. I used the garter stitch on the orange, small-gauge, KB with 80 pegs! Now I kind of can’t wait for cold weather! Don’t know if I care that these aren’t my colors. Warm and soft win!

I’m feeling fantastic. What makes me feel this way? What leaves me with such a good taste in my mouth? The feeling of accomplishment. One more sock finished!
I am totally addicted to loom knitting, especially socks. They are so cozy and warm. This pair is going to the charity with the mate once I make it. I’ve been buying some of my own yarn to make my own. These socks feel so much better than store-bought. They are feet-tast-ic! When I finish the second of the pair I will put in the YouTube tutorials for each part of the sock. Meanwhile, I am trying to learn how to make them on needles, too.
How am I going to get to my writing if I can’t stop knitting long enough to NaNo? I barely drop the yarn long enough to write the blog. Anyone else have this problem? Clashing of passions?
No internet for a 24 hours. I shouldn’t be using my data. But… Unfinished projects. Will any be ready for Finished Friday?

I had hoped to be finished with these two project by today. Oh, well. I love the soft yarn, Bernard Pipsqueak. I’m making a small adult hat. The other is a slipper sock of Sugar and Cream cotton purple for cuff and for the rest of the sock a combination of blues and purples. Ah, well, maybe next week I will be finished with these.

Though I like making the blanket and getting better at it, I don’t like sewing on the bits and pieces. I think they are cute and I think someone will find comfort in this toy, I need a break. And I bet you guys need something else to look at here.

I was nearly finished but the bind off was too tight! Bah!
I finished these cotton slippers for my friend today. Now I have to wait until payday to send them. KB His and Hers looms, followed by the how-to YouTube.
Meanwhile, I’m in the middle of making these hats:
The yarn was a fuzzy mohair type (there was no label on this donated yarn). The loom was the fine gauge small (toddler) KB. The pattern was my own invention. Brim two by two ribbing the rest 1 row flat knit stitch, 1 row U-wrap, 1 row e-wrap, 1 row purl, and then what I hear is called an upper purl where you take the flat working yarn down through the loop on the peg and bring only the resulting loop over the peg leaving the first loop where it was. It gave a bit of a textured stripe. ??? I don’t have a model to put little hats on. This one I used my coffee cup. In this first picture, the brim is down.
But the brim looks kind of cute up, too.

These are the finished products I can share for today. There are lots of little bodies that need to be stuffed, sewn and eyes I need to finish by Saturday.
The doll was made on the purple KB loom (24 pegs). He is about five inches tall. I have changed how I make the arms as I just use the four pegs that line up over the middle of the legs. I knit those four back and forth until I have about 31 rows then pull the first row back on the pegs and knit together. The rest of the doll is according to LoomAHat’s instructions:
The little hats are on the white KB loom following the instructions that came in the package.
I love the finer gauge of these looms. It takes longer but the results are nicer. I think. \
Besides the body parts to sew, I have several new projects starting:
This is an adult hat on the left on the larger KB loom and the one on the right is another baby hat. The colors are off in the pictures. The adult hat has two strands, an olive green strand and variegated lighter green to beige. The baby hat is pinkish orange that is SO soft.
This is a HERS of the KB HIS and HERS sock that looks the color of a 50/50 ice cream bar.
This is my 10-Stitch done on just a piece of the Martha Stewart kit. I have gotten bored with this one and frogged it several times. I may make just a lap-ghan elderly or frog again and give up on something that large and stick with toys and hats. I do like the color combo here, though.
I am SO happy! I finished MY short socks! And they fit!!!
They are so comfortable!

This is all the yarn that was left! I got crazy toward the end hoping I’d have enough. But it worked out! These will feel cool in sneakers or croc. Yes, I wear those ugly things around the house. They are so comfortable, they make my back and legs feel better.
By the way, the pattern I used was loosely based on this:
