I asked my husband for a one-liner. He said all I should think is a novel. So I did. Thus I am late. Does it still count?
One-Liner Wednesday is a fun prompt
What we give power has power.
This One-liner Wednesday was brought to us by Linda G. Hill.
The quote is from The Good Witch Season 6 Episode 2. Just happened to be watching for fluff entertainment while getting things done.
By the way, I watch this on NetFlix when I need something in the background to look up at so my eyes can rest a moment from close work.
According to Filicia Day in today’s lesson, Creating is hard; it takes doing and digging, and digging, and digging. [Not a direct quote but from my notes while listening. I thought that we were digging a grave for all the failures so the real one could live.]
This fun little prompt is Linda’s One-Liner Wednesday. Follow the link to find the rules of the game and other prompts and check out her books!
One-liner Wednesday is a Linda G. Hill prompt. And um, I’m sorry. My husband shared on FaceBook and I laughed out loud. Maybe the stress is getting to me?
Finally, a beautiful day, wonderful weather for laptop wearing.
As I mentioned in a previous post, I have been working from my cell as holding the laptop, even with a fan tray and cushiony lap desk, gets far too uncomfortable during hot summer days. In the 80s today! So happy to be using my laptop today!
So keeping it personal, not political. Potatoes were okay. I needed to use more water. Brown rice not so done as I’d like, maybe need more water. Instapot gets it done without letting out any smell of something cooking. My other pressure cooker make wonderful smells and lets me know when food is just right. So not defeated. Learning curve.
Needle knitting, barely tinked today, no frogging. Win!
If you would like to participate in this prompt, feel free to use the โOne-Liner Wednesdayโ title in your post, and if you do, you can ping back here to help your blog get more exposure.
Here are the simple JusJoJan Rules:
1. Just Jot It January starts January 1st, but itโs never too late to join in! Here, we run on the honour system; the โjot itโ part of JusJoJan means that anything you jot down, anywhere (it doesnโt have to be a post, it can even be a grocery list), counts as a โjot.โ If it makes it to your blog that day, great! If it waits a week to get from a sticky note to your screen, no problem!
2. Iโll post prompts at 2am my time (GMT -5).ย The prompt will be the word in quotation marks in the title of my 2am post.ย You donโt have to follow the prompt every day, but that will be where you leave your link for others to see. Youโll get a prompt for every day except Wednesday, when the prompt is simply my One-Liner Wednesday and on Saturday, when your prompt will be the Friday Reminder and Prompt for #SoCS, which will appear at about 9:30am Friday. Each prompt post will include the rules.
2 a) The rules that Iโve made for myself (but donโt always follow) for โOne-Liner Wednesdayโ are:
1. Make it one sentence.
2. Try to make it either funny or inspirational.
3. Use our unique tag #1linerWeds.
4. Add our lovely badge to your post for extra exposure!
5. Have fun!
3. Please ping back or link to the daily prompt. To ping back, just copy the URL from the daily prompt post, and paste it anywhere in your post. Check to make sure your link shows up where you want it to, and go back occasionally to see other bloggersโ entries โ the more you visit others, the more theyโll visit you! Note: A) The newest pingbacks will be at the top of the comments section. B) Ping backs only work if youโre blogging on WordPress. Everyone else must paste a link manually.
4. Tag your post JusJoJan and/or #JusJoJan.
5. Write anything! Any length will do! It can even be a photo or a drawing โ youโre going to title it, right? Thereโs your jot!
6.ย If your post is NSFW, do not ping back. Please leave your link in the comments with a warning.
7. If youโd like to, use the JusJoJan badge so that others can find your post more easily.
8. Have fun!
Don’t bother me, I’m coloring and then napping! Or the other way around?
There are no challenges about napping that I know of. I would love to make that blanket! But there are only three more days to this month to get our Escapest Coloring Club projects finished. I take it seriously. Thank you, Linda! And for One-Liner Wednesday!
