This was a shock! It was two weeks ago and I have had to work on getting this blog just right to start nominating 15 amazing blogs. So here it is. I was nominated for the Versatile Blogger Award. Wow!
Thank you:
RULES:
1 Add the award logo to your blog.
2 Thank and link back to the person who awarded you.
3 State 7 things about yourself.
4 Nominate 15 other bloggers for this award and include a link to their site and tell them that you have nominated them.
My, my! What will I say about myself that I haven’t already shared?
Have I mentioned that I have watched Game of Thrones 1-3 seasons so many times I can’t count and I am nearly finished with my second read-through.
I collect dragons. And they demand to be in my novels.
If Dragon Naturally Speaking came with a cone of silence I would use it for everything!
Blogging is so much fun! I love meeting all the people and seeing what countries they are from! The world doesn’t seem so large anymore.
Retirement (for my husband, disability for me) makes me an adolescent again. My husband and I stay up all hours and sleep in til noon or later.
I hate my mouse-brown hair. I like the gray. I hate shoulder length hair. So… growing and going back to blonde!
My favorite thing to do is laugh!
And here are my nominees:

Congratulations to you too! And thank you very much 😀
I actually have a dragon tattoo – I was obsessed with them as a teenager… yes, long ago. 🙂
Thank you. I think this dragon obsession started with the Anne McCaffrey Pern books and I was well into my 30s or 40s then. Yeah, I know, I’m a latebloomer! 🙂
I LOVED the Pern books! I read them when I was 16. I should look them up again, as I’m sure there must be more than the original four I read back then.
I was able to get first editions of a lot of Anne’s works just before she passed. Now I am collecting the Kindle and Audible versions to make sure I can always read them, even as my eyes tire. Oh, yes, there are tons more! And her son Todd is continuing in her footsteps. I haven’t read any of his books yet.
I’ve seen his name on the shelves but I haven’t picked up any of his books either. I’ll have to get back into them 🙂 Thanks for reminding me!
🙂
appreciate the nom! thanks!
You’re so welcome!
Thank you so much for the nomination! I love that you collect dragons!
You’re welcome. I love them, too! Do you collect anything?
Oh, aches and pains! Actually, I am a paleo-foodie, so I have recipes coming out my ears. That’s actually my next blogging project – an attempt to digitize and record all the recipes I alter to suit my food needs!
I try to ignore the aches and pains (fibro) but still can laugh about them. I am still rather dumb in understanding paleo-foodiness. The first time I heard it I thought it meant eating like a caveman. I am trying to keep with my gluten-free/vegan using only coconut oil. It helped me to lessen the diabetes to not needing medication any longer.
That’s exactly what we do too – although we have some meat and fish (the whole protein requirement of the caveman thing is enormous). We eat coconut-everything!
I’m trying to cut potatoes and other nightshades too, and the more-inflammatory grains to help stave off the arthritis in my hands, but I haven’t been very successful. It’s all a process and journey, isn’t it?
I’ve been vegetarian for over 20 years yet the diabetes and fibro/arthritis grabbed me. I still haven’t figured out the way to not hurt, in fact, I haven’t been out of the house more than a handful of times since last fall. If you find something that works let me know! Yes, it is a journey! At least I can still meet a lot of people and have virtual adventures right from my apartment! 😀
Exactly! 😀
Congratulations on being nominated for the Versatile Blogger Award! ^^;; And thank you for nominating me in return. Apologies for the delay in thanking you – I’m traveling right now and am at the mercy of the sketchy hotel wifi!
I absolutely love what you share on your blog. I haven’t had the opportunity to travel beyond where I live so I feel like I am seeing Japan through your eyes. Enjoy your travels! And congratulations to YOU!
