Per Linda:

Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is “tree.” Use the word “tree” or write about a tree. Any kind of tree. Enjoy!

When I saw the prompt I planned a whole different stream. I thought it would be about putting our Christmas trees up, today. But it has been so cold and windy that all I could do was knit under the electric lap blanket.

The other topic was going to be about working on my diamond art projects. I did watch a bunch of YouTube videos about how to get started.

The only way this stream hits the word ‘tree’ can only show up is how our trees are bending towards the east from these horrible cold winds. We have been promised snow. But I beginning to feel deceived.

Once it snows it’ll be warmer. The humidity makes everything better.

This was a few weeks of ago. The trees are naked now. I hope they are still standing tomorrow.

Finished Friday!

Yay! Two more socks done! Done on the His looms of the KB His and Hers sock looms. Kitchener cast-on toe, flat-knit stitch through out. German short-rows for heels. Knit/Purl ribbed cuff.

And birthday snow!

How many of you do the digital reverse or add the digits together?

But I’m pretty happy about my actual age. I feel blessed to have lived this long when others didn’t get to travel with me. And my goal is the next prime number.

And the white dusting on the porch and driveway are making my birthday magical.

One-Liner Wednesday

This is a prompt by Linda G. Hill. Thank you, Linda!

Rain, the melted version of snow. I’ll take it!

Ta-Da Tuesday

One sock down, 4″ needed for sock 2.

And we got a call that we get our boosters on my birthday. I’m happy. 🤗

I didn’t feel the blues because it was either Monday or sort of rainy. But with my cataracts, my wonderful husband agreed to help me find my medical insurance today.

We started with this book:

Yeah, useless.

Our tiny hamlet doesn’t have anything for older people. No flu shots without albumin, no vaccines. To get those, we need to spend $50 for something free. And indeed, finding helpful insurance has been stressful and sad. We finally settled on something… I think. Meanwhile, I need only green spray paint to recycle/reuse this piece of *&#$+*for the trees wasted.

Calling for green spray paint and glitter.

Sunday

This has been such a busy day that I can’t believe it is already over. Where did the hours go? I did finish a sock. Oh, I had my NaNo project, Crystal, open all day and I was actually working on the character developments I needed. And Check☑ I got one out of 8 done. And I copied the story from yWriter to WriteItNow. But during all that I was watching season 4 of Dawson’s Creek. It’s so sad to watch the kids all go off to college. It’s called Dawson’s Creek and yet nobody but empty-nesting parents are at the creek. This show so reminds me of times with my teenage daughter, yikes, 20 years ago! And I never watched these last couple seasons as we all moved and my own empty-nest happened. But enough strolling down memory lane, that sock mate won’t knit itself. By the way, this is my last week of being 71. Yikes! It’s all above ground and healthy. Can’t complain, right?

Revisions and editing seem to slap the reverent feelings of brand spanking new overwhelming story. It will forevermore need revitalizing revaluation. That is the preview of the next few months of reviews of said novel.

Revisiting tonight’s sunset:

Per Linda G. Hill:

Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is “rev.” Use “rev” or find a word that contains it. Have fun!

And one more for whatever:

Yeah. I finished m wordage for NaNoWriMo. To get through the writing, I either listened to Pandora Classical Study Channel,

Dawson’s Creek,

or the Misfits.

I know. Quite the variety. My story is about people who are learning about new abilities. Hence the Misfits. There is a lot of family drama. Therefore Dawson’s Creek (And I love meandering down memory lane when my daughter and I used to watch it regularly, think, Y2K!) Other times I needed to just have something in the background. The music did the trick, usually. That is when it didn’t make me pull out the recorders or run to the piano to play Moonlight Sonata or Sarabande.

I wish I had pictures of something that is finished. But socks and hats took second place to writing. Oh, heck. This pair is close enough, just needing the cuffs. So Bam!

What are you watching, working on? By the way, Diamond Painting will be my next thing. I’m gathering bits to help with the new hobby.

Happy Friday and Happy December!
