I’ve been crocheting as much and as far as I can while still trying to not strain the arthritis. The last panel is now as long as me but needs to be 6 foot. So 7 more inches. Then sew it all together and trim to unify the whole thing . The thing about Tunisian Crochet is that it likes to curl. The only way I can think of to de-curl is add a trim in the back side.
Well back to work. It won’t hook itself!

Take care my friend
Thank you. You, too! ❤

Good luck! I have never attempted an afghan, can’t wait to see yours!
It’s nice if you can take your time, especially in the winter. I’m just not good at having time elements to crush. It’s too stressful. I made an Afghan 50 years ago for my first marriage. It was the Granny Squares. That was easier in the process. But lots more sewing in the end. Still if you don’t mind seeing it might be a place to start. Or doing squares of Tunisian Crochet would keep the process easier to carry around.
Maybe if you hug it over one of those ladder thins it would be easier to work on?
Not for me. But others might like that. It’s just having to work so fast. To the point of making mistakes then having to rip it out, then being on more of a crunch.
