I love how you keep busy, but how do you keep life from getting in the way? This week has been a complete waste of my time , as I have achieved nothing!
I do have weeks like that. In fact, until recently, it was like that all the time. Jobs and responsibilities took over. Retired with my husband, brother, and son in the house means I get to have more me time than I ever did before. Be patient with whatever you get done. Hey, sometimes my hands hurt and I don’t get to do my favorite things. Or I’m fatigued and don’t feel much like doing anything. So while it is working for me I try to enjoy it completely. Hugs!
Learning to cope with life now I am 8o, is proving to a huge learning curve. I have to learn not resent my increasing inabilities, and find new ways to do things… However, I am not putting up too much of a fight!
As they say old age is not for sissies! I so understand that. It’s why I do try to keep track of fun things I do, even if only a row or two of knitting. Somedays you can claim breathing in and out as an accomplishment.💕
I am beginning to realise that, too… I’m not happy about it, but I am deliberately finding fun things to do instead. Funnily enough, I can do most of those with no trouble at all!
That is how I think of it, too. We do what we can and now those are accomplishment and not pasttimes!

I haven’t even made it through my first easy puzzle, I’m jelly!! Ok, i gave up for a while, but I’ll get around to it! I may have to try knitting. I can’t seem to keep my count straight with crochet, but if will have to wait, got too much on my plate right now! All that talk of dreams and so last night, i had a nightmare! It was bad enough that i couldn’t go back to sleep for a while. You don’t think it was an old, really stupid scary movie about being chased by the Devil and seemed no one had eyes, or their faces were melting do you?
I’ve been using a couple apps for a few years. YEARS at least 10. I’m still in easy!
At least with knitting you can count loops on the needle. With both knitting and crochet I have to put little stitch markers every 5 or 10 loops. Especially with a huge cast on. One of the hats I do has an 84 stitch cast-on. That’s the hardest part of the hat.
Wow! Scary dream!
