How does one thank those who have given you the most? Especially when they’re gone. In this case, I’m embracing the passion and challenges. Though I’m not naturally gifted. My mother blanketed me in lessons and learning discipline to practice. Or as I convinced my inner child, playing.

Sammie the Spidercat the furry lapcat who now can blanket my legs as I knit, crochet or scroll.

Good job on the prompt and all your hard work is paying off!
Thank you! ❤️💜🤗
A beautiful post and I loved it all 💜
Thanks! 💜💜💜💜💜
Great post. I’d love to sit with you and listen to you playing 😊 we are supposed to get snow next week and I’m looking forward to it.
Thank you. I have horrid stage fright on the piano. I shoo away family members when I’m playing. I did piano accomplishment for my voice class and my church. And though I can sing or play the other instruments around others, I never could get used to piano audience. But maybe it’s time I record me again.if only to see if there’s any progress.💜
Hope your snow days are beautiful and safe.❄️💜
Thank you very much and the same to you 🤩
Feeling content and secure, a wonderful feeling indeed ❤

OMG. What patience and perfection in your beadwork! At first I thought they were all round beads glued to a background but upon closer inspection, it looks like some of the shapes are fluid…or is that simply the background that you have not beaded over? And are some of the letters and numbers on the background, others on the beads? I am intrigued by this piece. I keep seeing more and more subtleties in it. I must know the answers to my questions.
This is like a paint by number. The picture is always there. The little “beads” are flat on the back and rounded on top. Each diamond (bead, drill) has a symbol or number to match. It is quite relaxing. And at times challenging. I think of it as a type of mosaic. I’d love to actually freely draw/color with the beads. But not brave enough. My body can only handle 15minutes to an hour. Many use tables working flat. I have to tilt it up on a lightboard on an easle. You can start out on little ones. I find them for $10-15 on amazon. They are called Diamond Paintings or Diamond Art. There are great helpful groups on Facebook. I think you’ll love it once you start. Oh, and they even have bookmarks and coasters just to start small enough for a lap project.
So is it a pattern that you fill out?
Yes. Like crossstitch. In fact, the beads have the numbers of embroidery thread.
