Maybe.
You see these crazy fun socks were nearly to the heel part. I found a mistake. Tinking back.

A quick NaNoWriMo report. Empty now has 15,231 words. I should have 16,670. So back to the storyboard.

After months and so many tinks, nearly remaking these several times over, I finally finished my Sneaker Socks. These will bring back all the memories of the wedding and Wisconsin. I brought these and the hat I just finished a couple of days ago. The hat was helpful as it was easier and didn’t need the concentration these socks took. I constantly made mistakes and had to find my way back.

I didn’t think I’d like that ribbing in the foot area, but it feels like a foot hug. I love it! I may add that to future socks.
I know I’ve shared the tutorials before but these have helped me a lot!
I followed most of it. But the bind off was too hard for me. Instead I went with my fav, Jeny’s Surprisingly Stretchy Bind off. Even that had to be tinked and redone a couple of times.
Just in case you think I quit knitting. Here’s what I finished today. Someone I love will get this.

I don’t have a pattern for the Afghan. Just the basic Tunisian Crochet stitch. It is getting boring, but I think it’ll be warm.
This is what I’m using for the socks.
Have a great weekend!

I am in the middle of so many projects right now that I thought I’d dedicate this one to a want to make. A Fingerknit hat!
I’d also like to make a shawl, poncho, or cape for my witch costume.
I have two pairs of knitted socks nearly finished. And a Tunisian Crocheted afghan is in the works. But I will need a couple more pieces for my costume at my daughter’s costume wedding reception. So I am putting my ideas here so I won’t lose them.
Okay, I guess I should share the pics of what’s been done so far. All this needs to be done by the first week in October.
Remember the Hiya-Hiya Flyer pair of socks? I decided to put them on a long Chiaogoo Red Lace 60″ US 1 needle. I need to finish the foot and then the toe.

Here is one of the outer panels of the Tunisian Crochet Afghan. It is almost as long as I want it. It’s so long I can’t capture it in a close-up anymore.

I know I have a couple other projects but these are the ones I’m trying to concentrate on.

This time I used the Turkish Cast-on. But since I think I understand the rest of the pattern now, I think I’ll give it one more try. The next stage is an arch ribbing to keep the sock snug.
I’m happy with the first pair but hope to improve. For the pattern and tutorial click back a couple days on this blog

Those seem to be the highlights of the progress of the day. Except we’re nearly finished with all 15 seasons of ER. That should earn some prizes!🤣
