Wishing you all a loving Christmas, Hanukkah, or however you celebrate or live these days with hearts and spirits. May we all find ways to be kind to one another.
Sorry. Bragging time. I rarely talk about Duolingo. I play with it every day. Some days I enjoy it so much I don’t want to stop. Others I barely make it through one five minutes. I have a lot of languages plus math and music. By the way, the music sucks! Some languages seem easy for me. But others are nearly impossible for me.
Cool!!!! That’s my favorite things to say and with all the enthusiasm of the multiple exclamation points. Sorry Grammarly and autocorrect. Anything else is stuffy!
Yes, this nearly 75 year old is stuck in the groovy 60s. Well, at least with that word.
I rarely use cool in reference to weather. It’s cold. Or hot. Maybe that’s more location than slang.
Hey, want to know the coolest?
I reached 10,023! (NaNoWriMo) Yay!!! Okay, so I’m nowhere near the end, the story still calls me. Sometimes goals can push. Sometimes they can kill you. The best goal is one that inspires progress and happiness.
Nothing is cooler than a warm kitty.
Notice Joe Cool on the shelf!
Yeah, I still want a warm puppy. One that Sammie will love as much as me.
Nothing is finished. The weather has made my favorite things uncomfortable if not downright pain. But progress goes slow. One second spent on projects you feel passionate about is still progress! So here are some things still moving forward.
So little left to do.
Another pair of slippers on the comfy arch.
Trying to make stress balls. But I think I need to frog and start over.
A uke Kindle book I’m playing with.
My family thinks I’m overdoing it. I need a place to put the taped together pieces. Maybe a scroll library? I don’t want to fold or roll these as they become even more cumbersome. Ideas?
Recorder fun
More Christmas fun for the recorders.
Christmas for the violin. Bow tightening and rosin amounts still in flux.
And prayers for the safety of my adult kids driving over the river and through the woods, or some such. Weather will be rain/snow, etc. I’m worried but can’t wait to see everyone!
Working on my series: Haven.

Books, games, music, and life — filtered through the mind of a writer, drummer, and philosopher who thinks too deeply about all of it. If it moves something in your chest, I'm interested.
