I woke up with that running around in my head. I decided that had to be the One-liner.
Because today the letter of the day is:
I still have about 40 minutes to continue writing on my CampNaNo. Instead of talking about that, let me share tonight’s Sunsets. I am so happy to have other things to think about than the norm. Sunsets and mornings with muppets singing in my head. That’s my miracles and mirth.
I hope you all had miraculous days or found some magic out there.
The other day my husband and I were sitting in our recliners. We were watching something. I don’t know what. But both of us disagreed with what we saw. As we shook our heads he said:

Yeah. I think we’re past the dripping. It seems we refused changes of beauty before. Now maybe this tsunami of illness will bring a strong-armed change. If we take the time to be responsible people we may find the best in all of us.
I don’t know where that quote came from. I looked it up on Google and didn’t find it. If anyone knows who said it first, I will be glad to give credit where it is due.

So my husband gave me a long explanation of how he fixed his breakfast in the microwave and forgot to scramble or poke the yoke. I’m looking at him wondering why the long story. He rubbed the side of his mustache and told me, “Well, I just realized that I had egg on my face when we kissed.” We both had clean faces so I wondered what it meant. Anyone?

Look. I get it. I’ve been carrying around reusable bags attached to my purse for more than a decade. But by outlawing these plastic bags, my reusing of the bags as trash can liners or plarn items will be over as soon as the “bag bag” chair is empty. That chair was to be a laundry bag made of plarn. But when we moved I stuffed it with our extra plastic bags. Once here the cats and then the dog found that bag the best seat in the house. So let’s see what ideas others have about this soon to be small dilemma. Ideas?

Cleaning a closet and calligraphy take me down Memory Lane.
A different kind of journey.
Yes, this #1liner needs an explanation. I got this calligraphy set when my youngest was maybe twelvish? The green lettering was my practice from long ago. Then you see the Hey, Mickey y… hey Mickey. Then the Lilith, Vampire, etc. Yep, my daughter’s. There were several other names and work that surprised and amused me. Probably too personal to share names. But my BFF’s (since sixth grade) daughter has a page as do my son who was very gothic in his day, and a student from the school I was fortunate to teach at had a sample. Aw! Memories! Oh! That l o g o was not me spelling something. that is today’s practice at downstrokes and ovals.
I’ve decided I need to start writing by hand and making my own stationery, etc. It’s the result of the newest ‘what if’ that hit me. What if the internet goes away and I need to get back into writing by hand? What if we need to use the mail system more. Besides, I love getting mail. I need to get busy and send my favorite people my notes because I love them! Hence calligraphy practice. I hope to include more artwork in my day along with all the knitting. Just because.
