I want to say something inspiring or funny. But one degree of separation of COVID19 sucks. I am finally feeling healthy after my tooth infection and my son shows symptoms and is being tested tomorrow. 2020 sucks

Yeah, my actual words this morning. I was getting ready to find Sunday Morning to watch. I didn’t see it in the line up. This tooth/bladder infection and COVID19 craziness has really messed with my mind!

Do you ever wonder if this is one of those movies where we wake up in the end and realize it was all a dream?

 

Well, that was all I had for One-liner Wednesday. By the way, I’m feeling better in spite of near triple-digit heat. I plan to color tomorrow and when it cools down a bit I plan to play with my Diamond Art that arrived today.

Thank you! My husband just had an appointment on Monday so 4 hours of driving. This morning he’s driving 3 to get my antibiotic and painkiller. What a guy!. The dentist is sure that the pain is due to infection. He can’t even pull the tooth until the infection heals. My temp is usually low. 96-97. But yesterday it was up to 99.1. How much was tooth and how much this bloody heat, I’m not sure. I hope it’s better tomorrow. My friend is coming to visit. She’s bringing a pup tent so she can maintain distance. We’ll all wear masks for a couple of days.

One-Liner Wednesday — Answering What Day Is It Anyway?

Which shall I use to make the planet? The all-knowing smile alluded to the blue.

In my head that was a one-liner. Maybe not if I need to add the rest. It was a gentle non-COVID19 dream. Obviously, two of my favorite things collided: Loom-Knitting and Sci-fi. The X-Wing (as I call it–CinDWood– can be used to make larger afghans or sweaters) loom above and the 24 peg baby hat Knifty Knitter. So if you choose to knit a planet one should choose the blue one.

On that thought and straying from the one-liner, what would you choose to take with you on the spaceship between planets? I see the shows and wonder how can they just sit there and not be knitting or crocheting that whole time. So many things could be ready at landing. Much worry and angst could be averted.

After days of rain and cold, this was a clear-skied sunset.

Yeah. It’s still cold. Blurry is due to shivering. 35 degrees tonight.

Again, a very busy day so I haven’t much to show. Tomorrow I will be getting envelopes ready for the mail. I’ll take pictures before I send them. But I won’t be able to show you until the posted goods reach their recipients.

Half-Birthday Beach Parties Are The Best!

That’s the One-Liner for Wednesday answering the #What Day Is It Anyway? question. Except the Half-birthday was two days ago. So here’s how it happened:

My friend sent out little boxes to those who attended. And she sent the Zoom address to get us to the party.

The box:

An alligator squirt gun, a shell-shaped soap, a Booktastic trivia card, a baggie of wipers, a postcard from the beach, and a beach ball. I immediately blew up the ball.

Sorry for the quality it is a picture of a picture, and so on, and so on.

So despite the lock-down, lack of money, Weather that tries not to look like June, my Half-Birthday Virtual Zoomingย  Beach Party was a success! I have fun friends!
