One-Liner Wednesday

Home safe and sound, many doctors appointments ahead.

Part of Linda’s One-Liner Wednesday

Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is โ€œheart.โ€ย Use it any way you like. Have fun!

Have you ever noticed the words in the word h-e-a-r-t. Grab a cup of tea. Lend an ear. Hear what you can with your heart. He might have heat for her. But involve the muse of art. Scramble a bit for the Earth. Possibly shed a tear.

How did that rate? Do you find more? Can you make it heart worthy?

Another fun prompt by Linda G. Hill.

Thankful

Thankfully, Chris came out okay. The doctor said it was an anomaly and said just watch him and take it easy for a couple days. She asked if there was anything else we needed. I was feeling silly and gasped for coffee. This sweet doctor went to the doctor’s lounge and picked up two cups for us. She knew leaving for Christmas Valley at 1:00 would put sleepy people out driving at a dangerous time on scary roads. I could’ve kissed her! It was strong and hot!! It was so cold outside. It even snowed on the way home. It didn’t stick but I was excited. Don’t you love watching snow aiming for the windshield in the dark? It’s amazing! Like a spaceship in warp drive.

I’m grateful my husband is fine. That we got home safely. And I’m grateful for a day to sleep in and off.

I’m grateful that my brother and husband can fix the shower.

Meanwhile, it is getting cold at night. We have a 15 degree night coming up this week. Ugh! Give me snow!!!

I’m grateful for friends and family and the love shown to us for Chris’s sake.

Feel the love!

Why is there a heart on the hallway floor?

I said that today. Nobody claimed it. On closer examination, it looked like a piece of paper towel that Kali had ripped. That is her hobby, finding paper towels to tear up. Could my dog be leaving me Valentines? Should I tell her she’s a day early? Oh, and just when I thought no one would have picked it up (an illness of all in this house) so as to take a picture, it was gone. It looked just like this:

One-liner Wednesday is another of Linda G. Hill’s challenges for all of us to enjoy.
