WordPress won’t let me post any more pictures. Do I have to buy into a higher level? If I can’t afford it, and I somehow figure out how to delete early pictures, will early blogs be weirdly pictureless? How do you all WordPress?

I pay for a plan with extra storage. But you can always delete older photos to make room.
Thank you. 💜

I pay £36 a month plus vat for my plan but you can always delete phoyto but if you delete photos they will disappear from your blog 💜💜
That’s what I thought might happen. Guess that is helping me decide to join the paying bloggers. Now to juggle money.
Yes it happens to us all. 💜💜💜

I pay for my own website and self-host WordPress, but we did that because we wanted to control our email addresses after mergers and rebranding made us change email three times though we were with the same Internet provider.
However, there’s a trick (annoying and time consuming, but…) with WordPress and images. Every time you upload an image, WordPress keeps the original and creates a series of copies from a banner sized down to a thumbnail. You need the thumbnail for showing up in lists and the like, and you need whatever size you are choosing to display. You can go through and delete the other sizes to gain some space. You should be able to do this through the media manager. I don’t have mine open right now or I’d tell you, but if you host on WordPress.com, the interface might be a little different. On mine, it creates a large, medium, small, thumbnail and banner. Make sure what size you use (usually linked from the media page as well), and if you can, delete the ones you’re not using. That should buy you some time at least.
I bit the bullet and got the lowest level I could. That did help. I was able to put the book picture up this time. Thanks for the advice, I’ll refer back to you note in a couple days to see how it all works. This dyverticulitis is wiping me out.
Hugs. Hope you feel better soon.
Thank you.
