Sisters Under the Rising Sun by Heather Morris
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
โAfter reading I many books about WWII and the women who played their part, I wondered why I seemed to have covered only parts in Europe. I barely got that thought out when this book appeared on Libby’s list of similar books. I had read other books by Heather Morris, such as The Tattooist of Auschwitz. I loved that one. I couldn’t go wrong.
Laura Carmichael of Downton Abbey narrated the book. She has so many accents to play in this book. Australian nurses, among others. Please read the blurb on Goodreads or Amazon.
This is one of the best historical fiction books I’ve read/listened to. I hope you get the chance to read it; even more, I hope you get to listen to the audiobook.
