Teddys, Tigers, and Toes

So with all that’s been happening here, leaks, fluffy Internet, snow, electrical issues, my NaNoWriMo, Reflexion had to go on the back burner. I readjusted my goal. I think I can get to 33,000 by the 30th. The story won’t be finished, but I’ll feel more like writing if I feel I’ve accomplished something. So […]

Poor Teddy

After so much medicine and trips to the vet, poor Teddy is still going downhill. It is breaking my heart. He’s lost so much weight and still has a hard time breathing. We have an appointment for tomorrow, I hope he can make it and they have help for him.

Ta Da and Teddy Tuesday

First the TaDa: KB fine-gauge Flexee 20 links. Tie-up starting with Kitchener cast-on. German short-row heel. Cuff two-by-two purl/knit. Stretchy cast-off. Now passed on to charity. Now the Teddy update. As you may have noticed, I have many names for this feline, and he reenacts them all at will. Saint Theodore. That’s when he does […]

Which question shall I start with? Shall it be last night’s answer to the prompt when I read it? We lost Kali over a year ago. Why does it seem like less than a month ago? Kali’s Death Shortly after that, Teddy left us. Could I miss anyone as much as I missed them? (Teddy’s […]

On, the other side, my peacock got a corner filled in. Floundering is almost over. I think I’ve decided to use March for editing to get ready for April’s camp NaNo.

Just Jot It January, Despair

Carol Anne’s blog brings us today’s prompt, “despair.” JusJoJan is Linda’s fun place to start. The despair I had when Kali and, within a short while, Teddy crossed the Rainbow Bridge is still hanging on. I don’t know if you ever get over losing someone, even or especially our beloved pets. Even though it was last […]

Witches Get Stuff Done by Molly Harper My rating: 4 of 5 stars Looking for a quick, fun read at a time when it seems everything causes stress? This is it. Amanda Ronconi and Teddy Hamilton (narrators) give the book the voices of the story. I admit, though, I wouldn’t say I like it when […]

Memories Monday

I was just researching my first blog about Kali. Maybe the archives don’t go back to December 9th, 2016. That’s the day Laura, my daughter brought Kali to me. The first blog I can find is This One. There is a picture of me from when Kali was still my grandpuppy and lived with Laura. […]

Since I blogged about the beautiful snow. I’m not so excited anymore. That snow is still here. It hasn’t gotten warm enough to melt. And we’ve had a couple snows since. And another storm coming on the weekend. Had anyone told the weather that it’s not winter yet? Poor Kali hasn’t wanted to go outside […]

How Free is Free

How does a free blog site work when everything is tied to dollars? How do you create content without using proprietary themes when it seems even the colors and fonts are tied to upgrades for usage? Is it even possible? I hope to find out.
