Many other projects in progress. I’m so happy to have finished something!

This post is brought to you by Linda G. Hill, Just Jot it January, andย Destiny! Please be sure to check outย her blog.
For Just Jot it January, click the following link to see how you, too, can join in!ย https://lindaghill.com/2023/01/09/daily-prompt-jusjojan-the-9th-2023/ย Itโs fun!
Occasionally I share projects I’m working on, or have finished. This picture goes with the posts.

Why? Because despite me, ADD, arthritis, and other obstacles, things get done. And I feel glad. Endurance is a similar word. Hands hurting is something to be endured, even if the hobby is enjoyable. So here’s my latest batch of projects in various stages of completeness.

Endurance of lack of Internet or streaming services is the hardest part of all of this. I need the distraction. And the chance to work on the web, especially GoodReads and the reviews I need to write. This is endurance. We may be up and running tomorrow when our local Internet fixer will come by. ๐ค

But that’s not all I’m working on.

That’s all I can think of. My poor writing project seems stalled again. Maybe after Christmas I’ll have less pressing projects and can get back into it.
Happy

As I promised the finished hat, now in the charity bag.

Heels are happening now.

Shoot. I can’t show you the other double pointed needle socks that are also at heel stage. I need my tutoring session to learn how to ‘turn a heel’.
Okay Word Count calls. Currently at 5,441 so I still need lots more before bedtime. See ya tomorrow!

Meanwhile, I think I have enough yarn to make one more hat for charity.
No picture of plumbing issues. I don’t want to see it. But my shower is weeks from being done. The floor is finally dry. Now to get rid of the mold that has formed in the wall for years, maybe decades. The plumbing is put together. Once mold free the walls go back up. Meanwhile, I’m sorting

Mostly my aim is to have enough characters and a bit of plot on some kinda world. Three days!!!!! Yikes!!!!
What are you working on?

I’m learning so much while having a great time. Oh. And here comes NaNoWriMo! First character is nearly formed. Pensรฉes is the working title. Olive Odette Pensรฉes is my first character. The story is starting to form. I can’t wait! Who’s joining me?

I haven’t touched the toys. I just don’t like the sewing and stuffing. Mastering the inner child of the 72 year old is harder than when I was younger! I have a similar problem with straightening, sealing, and framing the Diamond Paintings. And I haven’t the foggiest idea who would want the paintings.

Too bad there isn’t an assembly-line set up for those who love to sew, stuff, line, and frame products. Hobbies should make happiness not more work!

Per Linda:
Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is โhappy place.โ Write the first thing that comes to mind when you think of โhappy place.โ Have fun!
In my heart of hearts, this is my happy place:

Since that is far, far away and impossible to get to, this is my happy place:

It keeps me out of trouble and gives me peace.
