Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is โ€œcostume.’โ€ Use it way youโ€™d like. Have fun!

My only costume on most Halloweens is a T-shirt my son gave me ages ago.

We lived in Anaheim back then. My oldest and my future stepson worked at Knott’s Berry Farm.

Stream of Consciousness wants to remind me to tell of the time my family of six plus my mom, dad, and brother got into Disneyland for free. Not right now, ADHD brain.

Anyway, every year KBF throws a Halloween Haunt. I don’t do those. I know people love them. People in costumes…

Big confession here…

Anyone who changes their face and personality are scary to me. My adult self gets it. It’s pretending. I enjoy watching others enjoying their cons and costumes. I enjoyed playing Old Sally in Oliver and a maid in My Fair Lady, back in… The stream jumped me again, another story for later…

Anyway, who’s to say some crazy doesn’t jump into insanity and has real swords or real chainsaws…

Why would anyone want to scare someone else?

Isn’t it scary enough these days?

Don’t tell me I’m a chicken. I should trust?

Anyway, back into the original stream.

On my back where I don’t see it. Glow in the dark still working.

Front of shirt. The year my sons worked at KBF

The most fun I have on Halloween happens at midnight where I begin to pretend to be an author writing dangerously, words as fast as I can, to aim for 50K by November 30th at midnight.

There be some dangerous people and situations coming up, far from It’s a Small World, after all.
