One-Liner Wednesday

Really, it’s Wednesday; since Sunday we have been on the same rollercoaster as parents of a newborn, taking shifts, calming noises, cleaning accidents, having fun, bingeing Caesar shows about getting along with dogs.

A part of One-Liner Wednesday.

Not so good pics

Shiloh is out during the day. Still no good face shots, and he’s beautiful!
Yeah, he’s taking over the cat tree. I can’t wait for Sammie and he to get together.

For the Record, First 48

I’m not going to bug him. So, no new pics. He’s being quiet right now. Cruchy-Coffee Bean-Snoopy has us on 24 our watch. We’ve all decided on Snoopy, even if he doesn’t quite look like the comic canine. I believe Coffee Bean works better, but I was outvoted.

We are all tired. He’s sweet. But he can bark! Both cats are in hiding. I haven’t seen Sammie since the dog came in. And the barking has him hiding under my bed, not even coming out to eat.

Shiloh is hiding until all the humans get quiet. He came out to play with Snoopy around eleven last night. He has gorgeous green eyes that you can feel staring through you. He came out and played with Snoopy. He ran up and parked on the top of the cat tree. He looked outside for a while, and when I got up to take a picture, he returned to his hiding place. So, sorry, there are still no pics of him.

Snoopy’s problem is humans. He comes from a single-mom family with a bunch of kids. No men. Here, four adults who live moving about the house cause barking. He doesn’t recognize us if we go into the bedroom or bathroom and come back out. This happens all night, all day. When we talk to him, he realizes we are good but forgets shortly after we move about in our house.

He pulls while walking in our yard. My knee has been yelling at me, so I do the Ceasar thing and stop when he pulls so I don’t injure myself further. Chris has to do that, too, as his stability can go awry. Mostly, Snoopy wants to run us all over the yard. The younger guys of the house will have to help him with that.

He’s so cute, though. When he gets too hyper, he grabs his blue bunny rabbit, which is bigger than him. He gives it some shakes, then cozies up and will fall asleep with it. Again, sorry, no pics with puppers and bun-bun.

Yes, he’s pretty messed up. Apparently, this was his favorite toy at his old house.

Yeah, not ten. We are down to six mice. Sammie loves his mice. He uses them for human enrichment.

‘Where’s your mouse Sammie?’ He leads us to the place he wants to watch us search.

He likes to push a mouse under my brother’s bedroom door. Once it’s under he flips it across the room. David is forced to look everywhere in his room. But only Sammie knows where the mouse is hiding. When David brings the miniature tiger into his room, the ginger points straight to the missing mouse.

Then when we are all watching TV in the living room, Sammie plays fetch with the mouse, bringing it to David to throw again and again. Clever kitty!

Clever Sammie!
Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is “mouse.” Use it any way you’d like. Enjoy!

What?

I forgot the pedicure!

Your prompt for #JusJoJan the 25th and Stream of Consciousness Saturday is: “in line.” Use it any way you’d like! Enjoy!

Thinking in this post all day should have given me more inspiration than my original idea. But here it is.

It amazes me what one bit of yarn knits or crochets into a garment. One string kept in line can make something soft and warm.

One string attacked by a cat makes a puzzle. So best keep cats and yarn in line.

One-Liner Wednesday

Since the special on Christmas, Sammie wonders if his cat tree can be a TARDIS.

Happy New Year, Linda! JJIJ and One-Liner Wednesday

It’s Beginning

To look a lot like Christmas with a new kitty!

Notice the trees only have knitted balls. And it’s snowing.

Every day we are putting them back up, rescuing stray balls. But wouldn’t trade it for anything. I really needed Sammie in my life.

Sunday Funny

Well, deep, sweet, and cute.

I got to see some of my adult kids and had a dog for a bit. Weather made it end too soon. But we had fun. And everyone is warm and safe again.

Someone is happy things are undogged. We keep telling him we hope to have a dog someday. And it’ll be okay.

Thus Thursday

I have no idea what to write about and really I’d prefer playing around with uke, vi, and toot. I’ve discovered Christmas carols for all my instruments. Piano is the most fun right now. But the others are fun and challenging. I try to keep them all fun so I don’t give up.

Poor, Sammie. His favorite spider toy got stepped on and broke. Funkle Chris has already ordered a replacement. Random Sammie pics:

He helps even a struggling writer feel better.
He still loves his tree though he’s almost too big for the boxes.

That’s the toy that broke.😥

Okay, time for strings and toots!
