Courtesy of my daughter. Thanks! She was going for a walk with Maggie, her dog. They saw a Family of Four Foxes.

Gratefully, I’m making strides on many levels. German is coming along. I’ve added more languages. I think 12 now. I doubt I will ever be conversant in most of them. But with two grandmothers who died from Alzheimer’s, I’m trying to keep my brain learning new things. LOTS OF NEW THINGS.
And I work both sides as much as I can. I have never been a left brained person so I do the Sudoku. I’ve nearly finished a whole book. I play math games.

Music uses both sides, both hands. And that’s moving along, too.
Gradually the diamond paintings are coming along. I think these are mostly right-brained. The beach scene and the lighthouse cause my brain to relax and stay organized.

This one is small. That is the only good thing. The glue is inconsistent, the symbols are hard to decipher. The drills are irregular. Still, both keep my hands busy.
One more thing I’m grateful for is

Eventually, all these will be finished. But here is evidence of work completed.

Editing is still falling by the wayside. I set up the NaNo goal that I had last month. I need to find an organic way to schedule it into my day. I can’t seem to muscle up the energy. Piano is in the same boat. I think the enlightenment will release my passion to enjoy these enterprises.

Between earthquakes in New York and another Eclipse the news has been more interesting than usual. Don’t you think? Epic times!

December in January
Yesterday I was singing about April Showers and May Flowers.
At midnight amid the rain there were huge snowflakes the size of ping-pong balls.
This morning:

Now we’re down to the weeds and mud.😏
So I worked on my beach diamond painting.

The original prompts for this month can be found here: http://www.a-to-zchallenge.com
But I find the page and process a bit much this year. So I’ve gone rogue. A renegade of the blogosphere.

But the beauty at the end of the last false spring day brings near tears to my eyes. See those dark clouds on the horizon? That’s the beginning of a few more days of blizzardy, blustery cold. We might even get snow. If so I may try to go out and throw a ball or two. But I’ll be dreaming about scenes like this.

Bringing beach images begets being at the beach. Bottom line.

The most challenging aspect of the a-z challenge is figuring out how to sign up. Then the next problem is bringing pictures over and finding, say, A. The first one I see is about overall. The next thing I find is the B post for tomorrow.
So once again I guess I’m going rogue. Hey, the alphabet belongs to all. I do want to give the originators of this fun month the credit they deserve. So while all rogue I’ll make sure to link back the best I can.
Since I couldn’t find the A graphic to download

While I wait for the stock picture above to upload, I’ll catch you up on my beach diamond painting. Almost halfway done.

From an airplane it might look like a beach scene.
My little lighthouse that I diamond paint in my recliner is almost halfway through, too.

It is harder to work on. It is small and the drills are inconsistent sizes. It was very inexpensive. I may try to use this for an idea I’m working on. Art. I may paint over or use leftover drills to add dimensions. I don’t know. It’s just popping around in my head. We’ll see how it works out.
And now it’s time for ukulele playtime.

I start my morning watching shows and knitting. I want to pay attention to the show and knitting is a busy hands pay attention hobby, mostly.

And now it’s time to strum and recordize.

Yay! I finished it!

Now on to my next.

Progress on the socks? Sure.

My uke is calling and it’s almost midnight! Yikes!
