Jennifer at Willow West gave me another lesson. I’m learning to ‘turn a heel ‘. I’m so distractible that even counting to 13 I got lost. I blame the pretty Christmas music. It’s why I can’t do music as background. I tend to sing, quietly, in my head when I’m supposed to be paying attention to the lesson.
I’m torn. I want to keep knitting, but it’s time for NaNoWriMo!

I’ve only written 412 words so far today. Total in project 4,683. It’s fun so I need to get back to it. The family Pensรฉes is so interesting! I know, it’s all in my head. LOL!!!
I asked my husband for a one-liner. He said all I should think is a novel. So I did. Thus I am late. Does it still count?
One-Liner Wednesday is a fun prompt
Not much time. I still am developing characters and world building. The family Pensรฉes is nearly made. Popeye (papa), Paris (mama), Olive, Poppy, and now working on her twin, Pepper, the three offspring. Then I need a frienemy like Brutus.
I think they are currently on a spaceship but I’ll need a world. Lots to do before midnight!

Meanwhile, I think I have enough yarn to make one more hat for charity.
No picture of plumbing issues. I don’t want to see it. But my shower is weeks from being done. The floor is finally dry. Now to get rid of the mold that has formed in the wall for years, maybe decades. The plumbing is put together. Once mold free the walls go back up. Meanwhile, I’m sorting
Mostly my aim is to have enough characters and a bit of plot on some kinda world. Three days!!!!! Yikes!!!!
What are you working on?
I’m learning so much while having a great time. Oh. And here comes NaNoWriMo! First character is nearly formed. Pensรฉes is the working title. Olive Odette Pensรฉes is my first character. The story is starting to form. I can’t wait! Who’s joining me?
I’m still recuperating, not so much from the surgery but so many long trips on so little sleep. My husband noticed I don’t wear glasses while knitting or diamond painting. I still haven’t been brave enough to play piano or recorder for fear of not seeing the music properly.
I’m back to doing Morning Pages and working through both Artist Way and It’s Never Too Late by Julia Cameron.
My Life is still progressing. Five more days in May to meet my goal. I think it’s doable.
Lots getting done. Lots of writing. Still need to rest my eyes a lot while marveling over this miracle.
Speaking of Monday, my first cataract surgery is happening at 12:55pm. I’m nervous and excited.
The writing is doing okay. The memory not so much. I took the readers through all my 11 houses the first couple years of my married life in my twenties. I suddenly remembered a room that my mother-in-law help me rescue but I couldn’t remember which home it was in. Suddenly I realized I had left out the first home we bought. There was the room!
May has gotten off on quite the path! May Day, May the Fourth Be With You, Cinco de Mayo, not a flower or margarita in sight. Tons of winds and a little rain.
I found this interesting about age groups learning languages. I hope those who are not on Duolingo can read it, too.
