“Meet you at 2-ish.” As a native Californian I heard plans like that a lot. As a teenager I could swing with that. But I was raised by Midwesterners. “Early is on time, on time is late. Late, get a new job.”

Now as a retired person with few appointments I’m glad I don’t have so many commitments and ish stays with fish.
