Ugh!

I’ve been feeling “less than”. Well, this morning I finally recognized UTI. Ugh! 😩 I’m going back to bed.

Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is “exclamation.’” Add an exclamation mark to your title or the first word/sentence of your post and just keep writing. Have fun!

We spent the day bingeing Jurassic Parks. One of my favorite explanations is in the second movie. When Doctor Malcolm says, “Oooh, ahhh, that’s how it always starts. But then later there’s running and screaming”.

Said calmly, it encompasses all exclamations !!!

(R)eviewing the creative week.

Yay! I’m more than halfway finished. The sea is done. Into the sky.
Birthday socks. The Fleegle Heel increases are nearly finished. There’s a chance I could finish these this weekend.

I’ve finally added vocal warmups to my music time. And as of today I actually accompanied myself to Somewhere Over the Rainbow, and God Bless The Child. True my voice was weak as my concentration was on playing. But I take the win that I sang the words. That’s one more line to keep track of.

I seem to only have a half hour on the piano. I’m working increasing my time. I think I’ll try a few quarter hours in the evening.

This is working on the exercise bike. Increasing time or mileage in one sitting. But then grab a ride here and there helps.

And now the daily walks around the yard with Milo, I’m feeling healthier.

Thus Thursday A-Z

Never overlook popular quests like the A-Z Challenge. If you do you will find yourself struggling to keep up. Hopefully, I’m caught up now.

Sadly, I’m still behind in book reviews. That’s okay. It’ll work out. We’re just a happy, busy fur baby family.

Check out AtoZChallenge.com for true rules. I’m just vaguely trying. Rogue sounds like too much energy!😀

One-Liner Wednesday

DH took a couple good pics.

Look at Milo’s sweet face with such wide eyes. I feel he can speak in Morgan Freeman’s voice.
Shiloh is the sweetest, shiniest friend for all of us, especially Milo.

Eventually Meandered

Evidently, I am behind on my muddling meander of the alphabet. For instance, I’ve gone rogue in hushed tones. I just thought how easy it must be to keep caught up and doing it legally. Must I remind everyone how busy three furry new friends muddle our senses and mess up our sleep?

Well, there you have it. I think I’m up to date. Sorry for the lack of creativity. Happy A-Zing, everyone. Check out the real site at AtoZChallenge.com.

I Sleep Around: The Humorous Memoir of a Nomadic WriterI Sleep Around: The Humorous Memoir of a Nomadic Writer by Sue Ann Jaffarian
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This was refreshing and fun. Sue Ann Jaffarian has a wit that keeps the writing about traveling light and wistful.

I have to admit that I often feel I would love to travel by RV and sleep wherever the road leads me. But the lack of money and courage keep me housebound.

With Text-to-Speech on Kindle, this was a fast read. And vicariously, we get to hit the road!

Messenger of Truth (Maisie Dobbs, #4)Messenger of Truth by Jacqueline Winspear
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This one was particularly bittersweet. The art world of the day was brought to light. But also, there was a deep sadness for our main characters.

These story bits were mixed into the murder mystery. Was it a murder? Another part of the mystery.

I highly recommend these books. Jacqueline Winspear’s research and writing abilities keep the story engaging. So far, I have been able to read/listen to the audio version of the books on Libby. Orlagh Cassidy (Narrator) brought it all to life.

Happy Day

While the donut-dog slept on my lap…
Shiloh slept on the top shelf of the cat tree, Sammie finally got brave and enjoyed his old favorite last time, bird- watching.
It’s so great to see him enjoying life again. So I took multiple pics of happiness.
Hey, did one fly on the porch banister?
Well, now Shiloh is curious!
By the way, I hate the new Bitmojis. Luckily I saved this one.

Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is “jam.’” Use it any way you’d like. Enjoy!

Jam. Painful, sticky, annoying. Think about it. Have you ever jammed your toe? Yep. I’ve broken both baby toes. And the large thumby toe. That one brought a cast up to my knee!

While there, that gunky stuffy between your toes in the summer time? Toe Jam.

So drive a car, instead? Nope. Traffic jam. So annoying. When we lived in the L.A. area and got stuck in traffic, I told the kids we should call for pizza delivery and get to know our fellow travelers also stuck in the jam.

Toast and jam? Bleach! Sticky fingers, dishes, table, kids. Stick with butter. Or just coffee.

I guess you can say I’m not a fan of jam.
